Consent-gated both ways
You choose who you share with and who you watch — separately. One never implies the other, and either side can stop anytime.
Share where you are — only with the people you trust,
only when you want.
Ephemeral location sharing for friends and family. Every sharing relationship is consent-gated in both directions, time-boundable, and fail-closed. Deliberately not a broadcast-your-dot-to-everyone-forever app.
iOS · Coming soonThe privacy model
One rule decides who can see whom, and every part of the app obeys it. Someone sees your location only if all of these are true:
Sharing and watching are independent directions — turning one on never implies the other. Flip the master switch off and no one can see you, even people you'd allowed. Going dark is indistinguishable from a dead battery: Lōc never sends a "stopped sharing" alert to your watchers. The dot just goes stale.
What makes it different
You choose who you share with and who you watch — separately. One never implies the other, and either side can stop anytime.
One fail-closed switch hides you from everyone, instantly. Set it to auto re-enable after 1 hour, 2 hours, 24 hours, or a week.
Location history is short-lived, and going dark looks exactly like a dead battery. No "stopped sharing" receipts sent to anyone.
Share per group, not with the world. Drop a place with a geofence and get private arrival & departure notifications.
See who can see you, who's watching live right now, and recent views. A first-class screen — not a buried setting.
Sign in with Apple or email + password. Verification and password reset are quick one-time codes. You're in straight away.
See it
A deliberately quiet interface — solid colours, no clutter, every control where you'd expect it.
Live map
Overrides everything. Off = no one sees you.
Per-group sharing
Anti-stalking receipts

How it works
Scan a QR code or tap an invite link from someone you trust.
Turn on sharing for that group — optionally just for the next hour.
The master switch overrides everything, and you can always see who's watching.
